Weekend Venue Manager

Run The Player Forge venue on Saturdays and Sundays (10am–5pm) while parties and activity are in full flow.

About the role

Weekend hours: 10am–5pm Saturday and Sunday. You keep the building running smoothly when we host football parties and the venue is at its busiest.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead weekend venue operations from open through close (10am–5pm Sat & Sun)
  • Organisation and logistics when parties, pitch hire, and visits overlap
  • Cleaning, tidying, and keeping the venue presentable throughout the day
  • Welcoming families and visitors with a calm, professional manner
  • Problem-solving on the day and supporting the wider weekend team
  • Work alongside Party Makers and other weekend staff

What we look for

  • Calm under pressure and happy in a lively grassroots football venue
  • Comfortable leading a small team and making sensible on-the-day decisions
  • Warm with families and clear with colleagues
  • Experience in hospitality, leisure, or sport is helpful — not required

Weekend Party Maker

Football-themed birthday parties at The Player Forge — also known as Party Playmaker

Host football-themed birthday parties with hour-long coaching sessions, and support the Weekend Venue Manager when the building is busy.

About the role

Weekend role at our Kingsey venue — you take the party when families book a football birthday, and help the wider team when the venue is in full flow.

Training provided

Full training provided. The right personal qualities matter more than formal party-host qualifications.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead kids' football birthday parties with energy, warmth, and a big smile
  • Deliver hour-long, football-themed coaching sessions as part of each party
  • Keep young children engaged, excited, and safe on the pitch
  • Set up and pack down party sessions from hello through to goodbye
  • Support the Weekend Venue Manager and wider weekend team when needed

What we look for

  • Friendly, engaging, and genuinely enjoy working with children
  • Comfortable being the lively host in front of excited kids and watching parents
  • Happy working weekends at a busy indoor football venue
  • Formal football-party qualifications are not required

Youth Football Coach

Full-time and part-time positions available

Coach youth teams for Player Forge FC in a full-time or part-time role. Training sessions are mainly on weekday evenings; matches are at weekends and on weekday evenings.

Full training provided, including support to work towards FA Level 2 or UEFA C.

Key responsibilities

  • Coach youth teams as part of The Player Forge FC coaching team
  • Plan and deliver evening training sessions during the week
  • Attend matches at weekends and on weekday evenings
  • Support player development in line with club standards and safeguarding

What we look for

  • Hold FA Level 1 (or an equivalent coaching qualification)
  • Willing to work towards FA Level 2 or UEFA C
  • Full driving licence essential
  • Reliable for evening training and weekend / evening match commitments
